Intermittent idle and acceleration issues, go away when I plug/unplug AMM? 200

Hello All,

I have a 90 240 wagon with about 210,000.
Lately I've been having intermittent problems with idle and acceleration.
I've found that when I plug/ unplug the AMM they go away, (Idle is normal)

I've cleaned the contacts on the plug and the AMM (male end) with electrical contact cleaner and still have the problem intermittently.
I also get a code 133 and 311, one of which says throttle switch needs adjustment or is grounded?

I know this could be interlated with the throttle switch, but the idle improves when I move or unplug the
AMM.

Can anyone tell me if this indicates a failing AMM or is there something else I'm missing?
Confused?

Thanks for any advice.
