seat heaters 700 1988

I bought a 1988 760 turbo about 3 weeks ago. As I am resolving some minor issues I realize the electric seat heaters don't work. They run of the same circuit breaker as the power seats, which DO work, so it rules a blown fuse out. Neither switch lights up when turned to the "on" position. Its no big deal but I'd like them to work. Anybody know where to start before I break out the old test light. Do the switches go bad or is it the heaters themselves?
