how do you move the distributor in a b20b 120-130

I want to advance the timing in my 122 with a b20b engine. I unscrewed the 11mm nut on the colar under the distributor, but even with a lot of force the thing doesn't budge. Then I undid the two 13mm nuts at the base, still no movement. What am I doing wrong. It won't move in either direction
