So after lots of thinking, opinions and other such matters, I've decided to try the switch over to fully synthetic oil, as the car is soon to reach 200K...

My mechanic whom i trust more than anyone with my car, says he uses nothing but mobil 1 and mann filters (i of course also constantly use mann filters, too).

Anything else I should know? If you have a serious problem with my plan, let me know in a helpful way, not a sarcastic passive aggressive manner, it's been too long a day for that!
