Speedometer failure. 900

Have a 91 940 Turbo with a failed speedometer. The needle jumps occasionally but mostly sits on 0. Quote to repair is $250. I'm finding that this is not an uncommon problem with this model/year. Anyone know what models/years are compatible that I can swap out? Any other options to consider? Thanks
