The question comes up now and again, which seal to buy. The obvious choice, given the amount of labor to reach it, would not be based solely on one costing $14 more than the other.

I have no experience with either, but decided to purchase an Elring and one from Volvo to compare. Still, my ability to pass judgment, with one in each hand, is sorely lacking. I have one replacement in my future and a friend has one to do even sooner; can you with experience contribute your comments and wisdom?
