It has come to my attention, that the main reason that people are not using the Message Board on our website is that they have lost, misplaced or otherwise cannot remember their LOGIN and/or PASSWORD for the message board.. I discussed this problem with Iain (my son on whose computer the website resides) and he says that if we remove all necessaity for login and password the website will be immediately swamped but every "Bot" and other SPAM Machine out there and NO ONE could use it .... so we came up with the following solution .... ALL accounts , except mine and his will be deleted. You will have to re register with a new name and password. HOWEVER, when Windows or whatever operating system you use on your computer, asks if you would like it to remember your login and password for this site .... please click on YES. That way, whenever you go to the site, you will automatically be logged in and be able to post on the message board without having to worry about remembering a login name and password every time ... it would also be a good idea to mark the login and password down on a sticky note or in your paper memory system and have it close at hand just in case you manage to wipe out the login memory stored in your computer.
I hope that this will sort out the problems with you accessing the Message Board. If we can't get it sorted out and get some people using it to get information out to Club Members, the Website may end up being taken down and we will lose our web presence that has made us known to other members of the Vintage Volvo community.
