Heading home last night on a dark and rainy evening. Heading up a slight hill and I see the light is green ~1/2 mile away so I speed up to try and make it. A few hundred away the light turns yellow.
But someone was turning left from opposite direction and my policy is to NEVER run yellows then.
So I hammer on the brakes and get the oddball ABS pedal jumping around ... I actually crept into the intersection a bit and had to back up. Still takes a bit to get used to and I wonder if I instinctively didn't hit the brakes hard enough..?
Works well though, those German folks did some homework.
