I have a darn good looking 1988 245 GL [wagon] that runs great. I want an original look. I've Googled seat covers etc. but didn't come up with anything. I understand 1986-1993 all fit. I've been to junk yards but all I've seen are worn beyond use. I've checked out IPD but didn't like what I saw. Also went to an upholstery shop and fabric outlets but didn't find a tan vinyl or leather that was quite right. Yes, I am being picky but does anyone have a source for vinyl or leather that resemble the orignal? [besides the dealer who wants about $400 per seat] I want front buckets and rear seatback and cushion. I plan to install new grids, foam from a passenger seat and lumbar support and do the work myself. Thanks
