Wiper arm replacement on 00 S40 700

Hi guys:
I posted the following msg on S40 forum,but the "traffic" is limited there... So I decided to post it here also,cause I always get good response to my 740 queries.Maybe someone can help me out... Tks

Hi Guys:
I'm a regular on the 700 forum,but need yr help for my daughter's '00
S40. The driver's side wiper arm got somehow bent. I bought a replacement from the dealer,but dont see how I can get the original out. There is no cap covering the base of the arm where it attaches to the body of the car. Below
there is something similar to a dented wheel,but if that is it,you seem to need some sort of special tool to turn it. Has anybody done this sort of replacement?
Any sort of help will be welcomed.
