conversion to 940 style electric fan 700 1991

The FAQ talks about how to convert to a generic electric fan to replace the one on the water pump. But today, I scored a fan off a '92 940, including the relay and radiator temp sensor. I would think this should be a simpler installation than to put in a generic or a GM fan as in the instructions I see in the FAQ and links from that.

I'm thinking the temp sensor is the same as the one I have now that is currently used only for the AC aux fan, so somehow I need to tie the new setup in with the existing setup. Anybody got experience who can tell me where to cut and splice?

Thanks in advance.
