Changing radio in 940, what will fit?

I want to upgrade the radio in my 940. Currently the one I have is out of my 89 (dearly departed) 740.

I got an amp out of a 960 and it worked fine until it blew.
Can I use the radio out of a newer s90, the double din type, if I remove the cig lighter and storage compartment under the factory, single din, radio.

Will it go in without modification.
