Is it possible to replace a 1.75 driveshaft with a 2 inch? 200 1984

Hello, I had to buy a replacement driveshaft today. I was sold a 2inch drive shaft but my car had a 1.75. When I compared them, the boltholes on flange of my tailshaft dont line up. Will it be possible for me to get a flange that fits a 2" driveshaft and instal it on my tailshaft? Thank, Ken
