swapping seats 200 1989

I'm still struggling with the common sagging seats in my '89, and I'd like to swap them out for the sturdier earlier seats. I was wondering whether or not, once I find a pair of earlier seats in good condition, if I would be able to reuse my late model seat upholstery on the early model seats. I'd like to keep the original look as much as possible.
