Idle Surging 200 1992

Hello All.
I have a 1992 240, auto, 4 door, with 158,000 miles on it. When warm and at idle it is surging up and down.Not idling erratically, but smoothly surging. This just started today. It doesn't make any difference if it is in D, R, P, or N. There is a 232 code in the onboard. I know this means that it is adjusting for a lean or rich mixture.It runs fine, otherwise.

Over the last 12 months I have replaced the rpm sensor, O2 sensor, coolant sensor, and air mass meter.

Bentley's suggests testing several components. I wonder if anyone can give me the most likely culprit.
