No air from vents 700 1987

I have not been able to get any air to come from any of my interior vents or the defrost. A very minor amount comes passively into the car. After reading the FAQ's I'm left scratching my head and can't find the best solution. The fan is working at all speeds (bearings sound bad but work). Fuses are good - please help me diagnose this problem. One post in the FAQ says to disable the recirculation and get a quick and easy fix. I can't find the engine compartment hoses to check the vacum on them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
