Need help with air pump, please 900

Has anybody ever pulled the impeller off the end of the shaft in the air pump? I can't figure out if its pressed on or threaded and if the latter is it left or right hand and how do you keep the shaft from spinning? Mine just has a bad bearing and I'd much rather replace that than the stinkin' $350 pump. Many many thanks.
