I checked the archives and, for the most part, the posts refer to the trim that's located along the body under the door, so my apologies if this has already been asked.

I picked up some of the grey trim that is relatively flat and about 3" wide (it's located on the door near the bottom) at the local pick-n-pull and was going to put it on today. What sort of adhesive should I use? Will something like Liquid Nails from the hardware store work?
