1993 940 Turbo Wagon: I had to reprogram my alarm system after I opened the car door without the FOB (wife had the only working FOB and was shopping). I thought I had the problem fixed but when I put it into reverse and started to back out of the driveway, the car quit - no lights, no "ding ding" with the key in the ignition, nothing. I disconnected the battery and let it sit for a while after which, when I pushed the FOB button, the car came to life again. I drove it up and down the block a few times and then parked for the night. This evening, after backing out of the parking spot in the parking garage at work, and putting it into "Drive," it went a few feet and stopped again, just as above. I disconnected the battery for about five minutes, cleaned the terminals and connectors, and then reconnected it, pressed the FOB button, and the car came to life again. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? I called the dealer and the service dept said it didn't sound like an alarm problem but the car never did this before I opened it with the key.
