I have a 1987 silver-gray Volvo 245 GL with only 137K miles. Up until 21 November, the car was in immaculate condition with only the clear coat roof paint fading. The car is fully loaded with all options including; cruise control, power everything, a sony CD sound system, aftermarket anti-sway bars, O/L heavy duty rear springs, the Volvo tow package, etc. The leather interior is absolutely like new. I live in California where the car was originally purchased and used since it was new. There is, therefore, no rust or body corrosion.... Last week I was rear-ended while yielding to traffic on a freeway on ramp. My insurance company, I believe, is attempting to 'low ball' the car's value. Since '87 245 GL's are hard to find on the market, I have not been able to gather the necessary data to argue with the insurance company... Could anyone provide me with some recent value/sales data for a low mileage '86/'87/'88 245 GL. I would greatly appreciate it... Any advice would also be appreciated!!!
Thanks.
