are there alternative auto company 15in rims that fit volvo 240?

Would like to upgrade to 15in rims for better performance on my 93 240 wagon. I've heard that Crown Vics and some Chrysler rims might work.
Has anyone had any experience with other auto maker's rims or could provide specifics? Would the volvo wheel covers work on these steel rims? `
