'87 240 Auto Trans Shifter Linkage Bushings 200 1987

My '87 245 that I sold this summer is back for some routine maintenance and a headlight replacement following a miraculously minor deer strike. I noticed that the gear selector was very vague when putting the car on the lift. Underneath I noticed that the horizontal link between the bottom of the gear selector inside the car and the actuator lever on the gearbow (AW 70 or 71?) has a good 3/4" of play arising from the fact that the link shaft is of considerably smaller diameter than the hole it is mounted through. I'm guessing that there used to be some kind of grommet in the hole that each end of this link is attached to that took up this slack. Can anyone confirm this and provide a PN or a hardware store workaround?

Thanks in advance.
