auto tranny fluid in coolant resoviour and coolant in auto tranny pan 700 1991

oops. my 91 740 b230 is having issues. i checked my overflow tank today and there is atf in the resoviour. this happened to one of my bricks before and i replaced the radiator to fix the problem. but this brick has coolant in the tranny fluid as well.
my bro had the car in boston and one of the sensors going into the radiator blew out. he refilled the coolant and glued the sensor back in. it seems like the cooling system is overpressurized and it blew out some gasket or seal. any one else have this problem? i hope its just the radiator and not some internal transmition problem. any info is appreciated. Thanks,
