I have to replace my radiator hoses.

I am the second owner and the car has the original Blackstone (shy of 170 K miles). How long do these things last ?

I try doing some searches here on the Board, and some would have it that it should be replaced at 100 K miles. Am I on borrowed times ? Can I just keep on driving until the thing dies on me ?

I see the three row Nissen on FCPGroton, at 180 dollars, and someone suggested a Napa radiator here not too long ago, but I can't find the post, I think it was under 100 dollars.
