Canadian down pipe-cat delete_will it fit my b21? 200 1982

I 've been wanting to try this for some time and finally my starla muffler has developed holes thus warranting an exhaust sytem replacement. My idea is to use the down pipe from a canadian market b-21 that han no provision for a catalytic converter. It's simply a longer pipe from where it hooks up from the header to the resonator. But, instead of using the conventional two muffler setup I'd like to go with ipd's single "sport" style exhaust system. Can this fit/work? So in other words it will have only one muffler all the way in the rear with no CAT thanks (i hope) to the no CAT downpipe for canadian Carburator models. Any thoughts or expereince with this setup?
