things to look out for with the 70's cis b23....been sitting 200 1978

alrighty guys i've finally decided to pick up that '78 242 flathood i found, i know it's been sitting for a few years. This car has the older style CIS b23 with the single fuel pump. is there anything i need to take a close look at initially after i drag it home? i've heard things about these fuel pumps going bad after sitting among other usually fuel related issues. any advice would be awesome, thanks again!
