'80 GT strut braces 200 1980

My '80 GT doesn't have the 2 short strut braces from the top of the strut tower to the firewall (I thought all the '80's had them, but this one doesn't).

Running down to the end of the "major" fixes; are these braces worth the trouble of installing them ?
