Help, I got the old rack out, getting the steering universal off of the spline was a pain, but got it,anyhuu .....having problems getting the new spline from the steering rack into the steering universal.. first I attached it to the crossmember like the Bentley bible says but couldn't keep it on there, the universal would shift off....so I tried unbolting it from the cross member(no better luck),....do I need to take heat to the universal to make it larger, I had a hard time getting old one off--had to force it off with a hammer and pipe, unlike manual saying just pry it appart with a screw driver.

Thanks in advance, its too cold for my friends to help me in cold Ohio, any and all help is appreciated. I now know why labor on this is 300-400.
