My daughers 88 240 temp. guage shows that is is running hot then dips down to show normal operating temp. I have read the forum and seen fix options. Do I need to fix this? I am confident that it is the guage and the vehicle is not running hot. I replaced the thermostat and flushed the radiator - the car shows no signs of running hot. If I do the wire solder shown can I toss the little curcuit board that must be pulled to get at the wires? thanks
