Oil indicator light on when ignition switch off 200 1993

I have a 1993 Volvo DL. When the car is off (Ignition switch off) the oil indicator light in the instrument panel is ON. However, when the ignition switch is ON, the oil indicator light is NOT on in the dash. I have done a cursory check on the harnesses. What should I check next?
