Are the late model single piston Girling front brake calipers found on 940/960/S90 models compatiable with an 89 744T with Girling 4 piston calipers?
Are the disk radii the same or did the later models have bigger disks? Do the mounting brackets have the same spacing?

I'm at the point of rebuilding the calipers again and thinking there must be a better caliper that Volvo switched to with all the problems these had.
