Hey everyone,
It looks like my 745T will soon be sold (reluctantly). With that sold and my 745 NA sold (long story) I'll have to find a new daily driver for the winter (it'd be hard to convince me to let salt get on the V90). It would also be driven by some other family members occassionally, but mainly me. I know of a '89 780 turbo that's for sale and it sounds like it's in great shape. I also know 780s are somewhat of a collectors item and I think they're kind of cool, but wouldn't be as inclined to care for it as I do for my V90. I would make sure it's well rustproofed, maintained and I'd try to keep it clean, but I would use it for my daily commute in the winter months (snow tires, salt, sand, etc). I'd expect to get good service from it for at least 3 or 4 years. I realize body and interior parts are hard to come by, but I'd keep that in mind and the seller has parts available if needed. I'd rather have a nice '93+ 940T, but they're not exactly a dime a dozen around here lately :( Anyway, I just wanted your opinion on wheather this would make a desent daily driver or if they're better left for Sunday driving. I'm just throwing ideas around, as I haven't officially sold the 745T yet, but I wanted to hear what others have to say...
