Grrrr! No Start on a 1980 DL 200

EVIL! I installed an engine in a 1984 earlier this year and it runs so I thought I was done working on Volvos until now. I have accumulated a 1980 DL and the damn thing will not turn over. It tried earlier today by engaging the starter and now that won't even happen. The lights come on but the starter will not engage at all. I checked the terminals and even applied die-electric grease to make sure that there is continuity. I did some work on the fuses and found where the fuel relay fuse needed another 8 amp but that was it. I can't even remember what the bloody AMM is. What does AMM stand for again please? I have had my head under my old (and running like a champ) Porsche hood for the last 6 months.

I just want to get this started. My cousin assured me that this car was running just fine....a year ago.
