Stalling and/or total electrical system shutdown 700 1990

So I have just gotten this 745 GL. It's pretty much OK, only 129000 miles.
It has one (maybe 2 Problems)

Intermittent stalling: It will idle all day in the driveway, but within 3 minutes of driving it will stall. ALthough it seems to be more often when cold, it does it when warmed up. No sputter, just complete shutdown. ( I think the tach drops immediately to zero, but I can't be sure as it happens intermittently and I am usually watching the road). Initially it seems the car is dead electrically, but I can't be sure. Anyway in a second all the idiot lights are on . It will restart, usually after about 10 seconds of cranking the first time. Subsequent stallings will be an easier restart. Most of the stallings occur just after taking off from a stop (ie about 2-3 seconds after opening the throttle). This, of course usually puts you right in the middle of the intersection! It also seems to occur when slowing and turning left more than right.
Electrical System Shutdown: If I brake real hard, the lights, radio, everything, will shut off. If I brake to a complete stop, the car will be stalled, if I do this at say 50mph, it will shut off, but if I don't come to a complete stop, the car will continue to run. I assume it is just restarting itself. The same thing happens if I hit a big bump such as a speed bump. The lights , radio etc shut off, then everything comes back on again. It happens so quick there is no detectable hesitation from the engine

I checked for codes for the fuel system. I got 132 (battery low), 223 (missing signal to/from air valve), 233 (idle valve closed). No codes from ignition system.

I tightened and cleaned the battery terminals. I wiggled the wires around there but no indication of loose connections.
I removed the Idle Air Valve (this is a Regina Systewm). The valve opens and closed when I applied 12v, and sealed tight when closed, could blow air through when open. With the valve removed the engine idled at 3000 rpm, and with the hose pinched closed it stalled, so I assume the valve is doing its job.

In the wiring diagram, there is shown a "junction block". I assume equivalent to the left fender one on 240's. ANyone know where this is on 740's? I see nothing in the engine compartment near the battery.

These MAY be the same problem, and I'm hoping they are. I think I have at least a decent chance of finding the Electrical failure problem if I can just find the spot it is occuring.

Ideas solicited...................
