My 21-year old, 740 GLE Baby Blue is having problems w/its manual transmission - OD went out and now the 2d & 4th gears will pop out while driving. This car has been w/me since new - for the last 21 years and is like a son- I can't get rid of him. Would it be wiser to overhaul the trany or try to find a used one that works? cost for overhauling this type of trany? 198K miles on Baby Blue....
