Idle air motor smoking, vacuum line ? and more! 200 1982

So uh I got this crazy problem. Car is a 1982 245 DL (k-jet). Re-wired the engine compartment by hand, very very carefully. Don't want to pay for a new wiring harness. Went to start up the car, wouldn't start. After a few cranks, one of the idle air motor hoses popped off and white smoke was coming out of the hose and the idle air motor.

Obviously next I am going to double check the wiring to the idle air motor with a continuity tester, but my main question is - are the different Bosch idle air motor's interchangable? I've got an extra idle air motor from a B230 turbo but it's a lot smaller than the one on my car and I'm not sure if the wiring is the same.

Other question, does anyone know the vacuum hose routing for this car? the diagram under the hood shows two vacuum hoses coming off the control pressure regulator, but this car doesn't have any nipples on the CPR (or distributor) so basically one of the vacuum lines coming off that blue thing screwed into the head is not hooked up to anything.

Thanks!
