740 GL died, now won't restart? 700

our 1989 740 GL died and will not restart. it died two days ago but restarted. this morning it started, and after a couple minutes died.

when i turn the key i can hear the fuel pump. i will check for spark when it stops raining. i tried the codes and it reads 1 1 1. the obd worked fine earlier in the year when the AMM failed. the obd looked as though it had never been touched before me. it still had the zip ties keeping it closed.

i have had the volvo two years with no major problems. i just don't know what to do now. and the ignition and fuel systems are bosch. thanks
