My 96 960 makes a high pitched noise (air raid siren like) that gets louder when accelerating, quieter as you deaccelerate, is very sporadic and can make noise at 20 mph or 50mph but I haven't heard it when driving over 60mph.
Any ideas what it might be?
Could it be a speedometer cable either in need of replacing or lubrication?
