Vacuum hose question 960 900

Quick question: Where is the other end of the small vacuum hose connected to the flame trap housing go? Its the hose with the 180 degree soft rubber elbow on the flame trap. That elbow is all but completely torn. Its being held together with some packing tape. I grabbed some vacuum line from work of the same diameter and I want to replace that complete hose. But it seems like the other end just disappears down the side of the intake manifold.
