replacing an automatic with a manual trany 200 1984

I really need some advice. I want to replace my automatic trany (1984 240DL) with a manual trany out of a 1988 240 station wagon. I located this trany at the junk yard and have already disconnected the clutch and brack pedels and the shifter. But now I'm having doubts as to whether the replacement trany will bolt up to my sedan. Has anyone out there done this before? And if so, what things should I be aware of, i.e., starter, flywheel, cross members, and drive line. Thanks for your input and Merry Christmas!
