Blower Motor 200 1981

It seems about a year ago, this time of year, that my blower motor had 3 of the four speeds. I thought that was normal. #1 meant off. #2 meant low speed and so on. Anyways, now I don't seem to have a #2 and my #3 and #4 don't seem quite as fast. I do have a noisy blower motor...but does this happen? Just keep losing speeds, one by one?
