Upgrading suspension 700 1987

I have found a 1990 740 Turbo at the junkyard that is pretty complete except for the interior that I have removed and was wondering if the 740 Turbo suspension bits would make much of an improvement on my 1987 740 GLE?
I was thinking of sway bars, springs, shocks/struts, brakes...etc. Does the rear end have a Limited Slip Differential? Can I swap out the entire rear axle (wheel to wheel)?
