940 SE Wagon Garret Turbo

Today I was just driving around town making several stops and suddenly when I needed power and kickdown there wasn't any boost. The car ran fine other than lack of power. When I got home and let the engine cool down, I remove the hose going to turbo. I couldn't get the turbo to move with my finger. Later I called a Volvo repair shop 150 miles away that I trust and told them what happen. I was told that I should be able to use a 10mm 12 point socket and put it on the nut on the shaft and see if the shaft was free. I couldn't get any socket on the nut that indicated the socket was the right one.

Anyhow I checked my 940SE sedan and the turbo spins easily. Somehow the turbo just locked down and I didn't get any indication until the lack of power.

I checked the FAQ section whick seems to cover the mitubishi throughly but I have a Garrett T2.5 Are there any significant differences that I need to be aware of. I plan on getting started on this tomorrow with the nice weather we are having 60s to 70s. Any help would be greatly appreciated as feel I have to do this myself as I don't have much confidence in any shops that repair Volvos in my area.
