cylinder #1 and #6 coils 900

#1 & #6 coils are not firing. installed 2 new coils made no difference! ignition module or something else in the system ! 1997 inline 6 cyl. Both coils not getting signal. both went out at the same time!! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!
