I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all those on the Brickboard who have listened and helped over the years. When I bought a 1800E more than 10 years ago I was pretty helpless. Through the Brickboard I have learned much about these cars.
I now stand at a turning point in my life. My last remaining Volvo, a '66 122e, is up for sale, with no pushrod replacement in it's stead. The Volvo obsession has run its course with me. I don't enjoy the 122 like I should and it sits forgotten in the garage. A new baby and new career have conspired to keep my attention elsewhere. Meanwhile, the 122 sits, waiting for another turn in the spotlight. I've come to realize that turn will not be with me, so it is with decidedly mixed emotions that I'm setting the 122 free.
So, thank you all for the memories.
Thank you for the help, thank you for the patient replies to my sometimes inane questions.
Thank you for the entertainment and thank you for the outlet.
Thank you for the maturity and civility that makes this forum unique on the internet.
Thank you to those of you who have worked selflessly (and usually thanklessly) to promote the vintage Volvo community through contributions of time and talent.
And the biggest thank you of all goes to Jarrod, who has made this whole thing possible!
