960 no start 900

ok, so i snapped an axle on my car, and proceded to fix it. along the way i ran into some complications which made it take 3 weeks to fix. once i was done, i went to start it and test drive. i guess after sitting for that time, now it wont start. its bringing up error code 131 which is the rpm sensor. i have already replaced this within the last year.( by the way, i am not getting spark to any of the cylinders)could anything else cause this code? or is it most likely the sensor gone bad again? could the no start have anything to do with the sensor on the rear end?

on an off topic, has anyone noticed hoew touchy these motors are. they seem VERY touchy to me.
