Hi all,
My 1991 940SE has the problem of glowing idiot lights. On acceleration they glow brighter. I have read it could be the alternator brushes but before I shell out $$ for a new one, does anyone recommend any other checks to do? I checked the output of the alternator, it's putting out about 13.5 volts at about 1500 rpm. The ground wire on the back of the alternator also is good.
