240-1990 -grooves in brake discs. Pads aren't worn out.

Hi,
I can see grooves in the side of my brake disc, but the pads are still good.
Sometimes I can hear grinding, sounding like metal on metal. Ive heard this grinding noise every since I installed the pads. whats going on here. Im using PBR deluxe with grooved ate rotors.

The big question now is wether I should turn, or replace these rotors when I change the pads. Also, I looking at trying PBR Axis. Any comments on this.
