240 turbo idle surge solution 200

hi all
so finally i fixed the surging problem a few weeks ago.
actually i posted on t-bricks and thats where i got my answer.
with 1 1/2 years of replacing/fixing/tuning the 85 turbo is running good, it had a surging idle and i tried everything.
thanks to the help of some volvo people the problem turned out to be the wire harness, not the engine harness but the portion that goes through the firewall to the idle computer, those wires were as bad as the original engine harness i replased last year. (thanks john lane)
after trying 3 junkyard idle control motor, dissasemmbleing and cleaning i just bought a new one from fcp. the harness repair made the idle 97% and the new idle motor did the rest.
just thought this might help someone.
