I'm in the middle of converting a diesel wagon to a 1983 gas engine setup (with B23 eng. and man. trans) and I was told that I would have to change the car's wiring harness because the harness for the diesel setup is different than the gas car's. I also have a man. trans donor car that I bought from a local guy who works on and parts out volvos. Well, he didn't tell me that he'd been snipping off parts of the wiring harness (probably when he was removing some relay or something) and so now I'm looking at another car that has an automatic trans for a possible wiring harnes donor instead of trying to figure out and piece together the harness that I have. Are these the same or does the harness have to come from a man. trans car? Thanks
